Susifo Tuilioma
Asst. to Executive Committee
Greetings and salutations. I am Sisifo Tuiloma, my humble beginnings are rooted at the beautiful tropical island in the South Pacific o Samoa. Migrated to the golden state of California at a young age for a better life and a taste of the milk and honey.

My career started at turn of the 20th century, year was 1998 and I was hired at Orchard Supply Hardware Corporate office as the Importer of Record (so were the days that it was a person’s name whereas now, it’s a Company name). I’ve worked on being of service to the world via various companies such as Underwriters Laboratory, Adaptec Inc, General Electrics (TSA sector), IBM, Verizon Business, Flex (formerly Flextronics), and even a stint at Google Hardware.

I am passionate in what I do and am always eager to lend extra help where needed. I enjoy the Global Trade Compliance field as it’s a clear vision of what’s about to hit the mass market. As a former subject matter expert in the classifying of commodities, it was great to have an idea of what’s being built and then enter Best Buys, Frys, or Walmart and see the actual finished good. That’s rewarding in itself!

I enjoy being a member of WIT-NC, to work shoulder to shoulder with the best group of ladies and gentlemen in the field and to be in the circle of who’s-who in the world of Global Trade Compliance nerds and geeks is truly a blessing.
