Sue Krenek is a lawyer who works at the intersection of compliance and technology. She advises companies on effectively using technology in export and sanctions compliance programs, and
she specializes in developing training that makes tough compliance topics accessible and understandable.
Sue put her training skills to the test as a voter protection lead in Nevada during the 2020 election, where she trained 600 new ballot cure volunteers in the week leading up to Election Day. She also did voter protection work in the Georgia Senate runoffs this January, and continues to oversee Zoom school for two mostly cooperative teenagers.
WIT-NC is everything I want a professional association to be. As a member, I had the chance to hear from expert speakers on a range of trade compliance topics, including things I wouldn’t have encountered in my day job, and I got to connect with fellow members across roles and industries. And as a volunteer on the Programs team, I’ve had an up-close look at how warm and welcoming the leadership team is. WIT-NC describes itself as a family, and I’ve really found that to be true.
