Joint PAEI/WIT-NC Workshop:
Sanctions and Restricted Party Screening for Tech Companies

This seminar will focus on benchmarking and best practices sharing relating to the challenges tech companies face in screening for dealings with embargoed destinations and restricted parties, to try to comply with the varied restrictions and authorizations available under BIS and OFAC regulations.

The afternoon session will consist of panel and roundtable discussions, with the evening session consisting of a networking dinner and presentation by solution providers about the latest advancements in tools available to support screening and resolution.

In light of the recent Department of Justice charges and BIS sanctions against Huawei, it is more important than ever for companies to use robust screening methodologies to mitigate risk.

As attendees learned at last month's WIT-NC's event, companies may unknowingly be involved with North Korea and other bad actors, even with robust screening programs.

Hear and participate in a joint PAEI/WIT-NC Workshop without expensive travel costs. This is local training brought to you by your local Bay Area Trade Professional groups, PAEI and WIT-NC.

Extended Program, Networking, Wine, Dinner and coffee break snacks will be provided.
