WELCOME TO WIT-NC 2018 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WIT-NC would like to extend their welcome and thanks to the new 2018 Board of Directors. More about the new Board of Directors here.

MEMBER OF THE YEAR AND CORPORATION OF THE YEAR 2017
Every year WIT-NC honors one member and one corporation that deserve special acknowledgement. Their service to the organization supports the WIT-NC mission, vision, and values, and was integral to the success of WIT-NC in 2017.

The 2017 recipient for Corporation of the Year was awarded to Genentech as they fulfilled both the Sponsorship of Services and Organizational Support criterion. They were a Sustaining Sponsor who hosted, in its entirety, a WIT-NC monthly program and hosted the day-long OWIT annual meeting including transportation. They also encouraged and supported employee attendance at WIT-NC programs. Their support has provided ongoing financial support, an alternate venue for WIT-NC, and corporate leadership. We look forward to continuing this amazing relationship with Genentech in 2018!

The 2017 Member of the Year Award was awarded to a special individual and WIT-NC Board member and volunteer. Jessica Latham is a Manager in the Trade and Customs Practice at KPMG, and as Treasurer in 2017 she provided ongoing financial reporting, budgeting and projections and managed registrations and memberships. She jumped in at times to fill the role of Vice President, President and Committee Leader for the OWIT Meetings. She has selflessly served WIT-NC for 3 years and done it with a sense of humor and an attitude of willingness. From the moment she became a member she jumped into the Board position as Sponsorship Director and she hasn't stopped giving 200% ever since. She is a leader, collaborator, visionary and does all with a sense of humor and humility. To quote, "The most rewarding part of being involved with WIT-NC is the amazing relationships I've developed and community that I've become a part of over the last three years. Our members really make the organization special!" More Info.
